The Peanut Gallery

As promised...
If you know me, you know my animals.  They are my family.  The only family I'm sure of, cuz they live with me.  I decided to call the collective the Peanut Gallery, P.G. for short cuz they're all a little nutty.
They might get that from me...
So here we go, in descending order of age:

Luna
AKA: Stupid dog, Chicken dog, Lunadog
Luna is 5 years old.  I'd like to say she wasn't my idea, but I picked her out of the litter when she was only a few days old, even though I really didn't want another dog.
Stonzie was 14 when I brought Luna home...

Luna & Stonzie
A friend of mine found a dog out at Cahokia Mounds   (or Monk's mound, as it was known back in the day.)  She gave the dog, Babe, to her parents.  Babe was pregnant, REALLY pregnant.  There were 18 puppies in Luna's litter.  15 survived.  Luna, and whoever else didn't find a home, was headed for a shelter.  How could I say no?
We're all convinced that there weren't enough brains to go around, cuz all the puppies of that litter are on the 'special' side.
When I call her Stupid Dog, I'm not being mean, just descriptive.  She's worked real hard for the title.  Dog didn't learn to sit until she was 4.  Still hasn't learned to play fetch.
She won the title Chicken Dog fair and square too.  The dog barks, from behind me, at everything.

Luna doesn't like storms.

Luna
But, she's cute.

Then there's Oz & Anya

Anya & Oz

Anya

They are sister and brother, and were born in the spring of '09 and came home on May 1, 2009.
These 2 were an intentional adaption.
Yes, I frequently do wonder why.
Oz

Oz is named after my favorite 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' character.  Like his namesake he's a relaxed, mellow kinda guy.

Oz

Oz
He's a big, cuddly, boneless kitty, who likes hanging out in the laundry.

I was going to call the little girl Willow.  After spending the first 1/2 hour with her, I realized that she was no Willow.  She was an Anya.
Unfortunately Anya has left us.
And moved to the...
